Hello: We want to remind everyone about the E-waste recycling fair to be held on Saturday, January 31, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Please come join the Blind Center of Nevada and the Rotary Club of Boulder City at the Boulder City Library at 701 Adams Boulevard in Boulder City, Nevada. The drop-off location will be in the parking lot of the Boulder City Library, on the south side, behind the library building. For detailed directions, call the library at (702) 293-1281.

Accepted e-waste items are computers, monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, fax machines, mobile phones, and any computer/electronic related items. We accept working and non-working items. Television sets will not be accepted at this time.

An additional service of Hard Drive Data Erasure will be available for $8.00 per hard drive. The Rotary Club of Boulder City is offering to pay the fee for the first 100 individuals, on their first unit recycled. This includes complete hard drive data erasure with a serial number report.

For more information on items accepted, or if you have any questions, please call the Blind Center of Nevada in Las Vegas at (702) 642-6000.
