LET'S GO BOWLING!

Hello: At the Blind Center of Nevada in Las Vegas, we have many programs and activities which are partially funded by our on-going business of computer recycling.

Today, we would like to spotlight another activity shared by some of the members at the Blind Center. On Mondays, from 11:15 am to 1:15 pm, the members pair up in teams and compete in a friendly game of bowling at a local bowling alley.

This activity is good exercise and helps with coordination. For some members, this is the only form of exercise they may get all week.

We have volunteers who assist the members in getting to and from the bowling alley. The volunteers also guide the bowlers to and from the bowling lanes.
We are always looking for volunteers to help with activities such as this.

For further information, or if you wish to become a volunteer, please contact the Blind Center of Nevada at (702) 642-6000, or visit our website listed below.
