BUSY WITH COMPUTER RECYCLING!

Hello: This is the last workday of the first full week in 2009. We are extremely busy with our computer recycling and eager to find out what the rest of the New Year will bring. The Blind Center of Nevada in Las Vegas is very concerned about the environment and keeping all e-waste out of the landfills in Nevada. Please keep this in mind the next time you have any computer/electronic equipment to dispose of. Please do not throw the equipment in the trash. Instead, please call the Blind Center at (702) 642-6000 to have the equipment picked up, or to get directions to drop it off at our Center.

Also, don't forget to keep checking our blog and website for details on up and coming events. The events may be convenient for you to drop off any old or unwanted equipment. As stated in yesterday's blog, the next recycling event will be held at the Wal-Mart Supercenter at 540 Marks Street in Henderson, Nevada on Saturday, January 17, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The drop-off location will be in the parking lot of Wal-Mart. Look for the Blind Center of Nevada truck behind the In-N-Out Burger and Jared the Galleria of Jewelry. For detailed directions, call the store at 547-0551.

"We can help educate our families and communities about the importance of recycling for our environment, and how each of us can make a difference for a better world by recycling." - Robert Alan
