The importance of doing this is to make sure that any and all information that is stored on your hard drive is wiped out thoroughly.

Recycling really helps!!!

Hello: At the Blind Center of Nevada, we provide recycling services throughout the valley, keeping e-waste out of the landfills. These efforts not only help our environment but also provides employment opportunities within our organization as well as bring in needed funds to the center.

Recycling e-waste is the right thing to do! It also directly helps the blind and the visually impaired members of the Blind center of Nevada.

Please keep us in mind when you need to dispose of any electronics or computer equipment. Your donations are needed to help with our mission and goals.

We also provide training and employment opportunities for those who wish to work. Lunch is provided and members can go grocery shopping weekly with volunteer assistance.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR COMPANIES THAT HAVE OVERSTOCKED ITEMS!

Hello: The BLIND CENTER OF NEVADA in Las Vegas is still looking for companies that may have overstocked items that they have not been able to sell. We can provide assistance in selling the items, and can handle as many items that you need to sell. Items need to be of a size that can be handled and shipped with ease.

A few examples of overstocked items that we would help in selling are computers and electronics, along with cell phones and PDA's, cameras, jewelry, collectibles, and musical instruments, just to name a few. DO WITHOUT?

Hello: At the BLIND CENTER OF NEVADA in Las Vegas, we are accepting all computer-related equipment and electronics for recycling. We offer this service for your working and non-working equipment. We do not accept television sets at this time. The Blind Center of Nevada also offers a service of Data Erasure of your hard drives to ensure that your personal and/or business information can never be retrieved. A Certificate is mailed to you upon completion of the service.

Our recycling efforts keep all e-waste out of the Nevada landfills and help to generate funding for employment, services and activities for our blind and visually disabled members.
