THANK YOU WAL-MART! THANK YOU VOLUNTEERS!
Hello: The Blind Center of Nevada in Las Vegas would like to thank everyone involved in the computer/electronic recycling fair that was held this past Saturday, January 17th at the Wal-Mart store in Henderson, NV. So, of course, we would like to give a special thank you to the Wal-Mart Supercenter store at 540 Marks St., and to the Wal-mart Corporation for making this a very successful day!
We also want to say thanks to all of the many volunteers that helped with the event. We are always in need of volunteers to help at the Blind Center, and to also help at events, like this one.
We would like to mention that at the end of this month, there will be another computer recycling event being held by the Rotary Club of Boulder City, in cooperation with the Blind Center of Nevada, and will be held at the Boulder City Library, on Saturday, January 31, 2009, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

E-WASTE RECYCLING FAIR TOMORROW!
Hello: The Blind Center of Nevada in Las Vegas would like you to come to the E-waste recycling fair to be held at the Wal-Mart Supercenter Store at 540 Marks Street in Henderson, Nevada on Saturday,January 17, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This is another reminder for everyone to bring their old and unwanted computer/electronic equipment to the drop-off location in the parking lot of the Wal-Mart. Look for the Blind Center of Nevada truck behind the In-N-Out Burger and Jared the Galleria of Jewelry. For detailed directions, call the store at (702) 547-0551.
A partial list of acceptable items are computers, monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, fax machines, mobile phones, and other computer/electronic related equipment. For more information or if you have any questions relating to acceptable items, please call the Blind Center at (702) 642-6000.

RECYCLING IS GOOD!
Hello: Once again, the Blind Center of Nevada in Las Vegas, would like to mention our computer recycling event to be held at the Wal-Mart Supercenter at 540 Marks Street in Henderson, Nevada on Saturday, January 17, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
E-waste recycling is so important for the environment and the Blind Center keeps 100% of the waste out of the landfills in Nevada. Computer/electronic recycling provides employment and free services for the blind and visually impaired at the Blind Center.

BUSY WITH COMPUTER RECYCLING!
Hello: This is the last workday of the first full week in 2009. We are extremely busy with our computer recycling and eager to find out what the rest of the New Year will bring. The Blind Center of Nevada in Las Vegas is very concerned about the environment and keeping all e-waste out of the landfills in Nevada. Please keep this in mind the next time you have any computer/electronic equipment to dispose of. Please do not throw the equipment in the trash. Instead, please call the Blind Center at (702) 642-6000 to have the equipment picked up, or to get directions to drop it off at our Center.
Also, don't forget to keep checking our blog and website for details on up and coming events. The events may be convenient for you to drop off any old or unwanted equipment.
