Recycling really helps!!!

Hello: At the Blind Center of Nevada, we provide recycling services throughout the valley, keeping e-waste out of the landfills. These efforts not only help our environment but also provides employment opportunities within our organization as well as bring in needed funds to the center.

Recycling e-waste is the right thing to do! It also directly helps the blind and the visually impaired members of the Blind center of Nevada.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR COMPANIES THAT HAVE OVERSTOCKED ITEMS!

Hello: The BLIND CENTER OF NEVADA in Las Vegas is still looking for companies that may have overstocked items that they have not been able to sell. We can provide assistance in selling the items, and can handle as many items that you need to sell. Items need to be of a size that can be handled and shipped with ease.

Hello: At the BLIND CENTER OF NEVADA in Las Vegas, we are accepting all computer-related equipment and electronics for recycling. We offer this service for your working and non-working equipment. We do not accept television sets at this time. The Blind Center of Nevada also offers a service of Data Erasure of your hard drives to ensure that your personal and/or business information can never be retrieved. A Certificate is mailed to you upon completion of the service.

Our recycling efforts keep all e-waste out of the Nevada landfills and help to generate funding for employment, services and activities for our blind and visually disabled members.

THE IMPORTANCE OF DATA ERASURE!

This is an important service, when donating your computers, to give you peace of mind that your personal/business information cannot be retrieved by anyone.

The procedures we use are Department of Defense standards to ensure total Data Erasure. A Certificate is mailed to the donor upon completion of the Data Erasure service.

WE COLLECT COMPUTERS & ELECTRONICS, PLUS OTHER FORMS OF DONATIONS!

Hello: The BLIND CENTER OF NEVADA in Las Vegas collects new or used computer/electronic-related equipment, except TV's. All material collected is reused or recycled creating jobs for the blind and visually disabled in Southern Nevada. Items are sorted, graded and organized for disposition or resale. No items are sent to our landfills.

Besides electronics, we are also accepting other forms of donations, such as: entertainment and sports memorabilia, art, musical instruments, cameras, collectibles and sporting goods, to name a few.

RECYCLING MEANS CARING!

Hello: At the Blind Center of Nevada in Las Vegas, we are accepting all computer-related and general electronics for recycling.

We accept CRT Monitors that are under 19 inches for a fee of $10., and CRT Monitors that are over 19 inches for a fee of $15., due to Federal Regulatory Requirements for disposal of CRT's.

Recycling is necessary to keep all e-waste out of the landfills in Nevada, to help keep our environment clean.

THINK OF THE ENVIRONMENT!

Hello: At the Blind Center of Nevada in Las Vegas, we offer free recycling of computer/electronic-related equipment. Because of Federal Regulatory Requirements for CRT Monitors, and to ensure responsible recycling, there will be a minimal service charge of $10 for monitors up to 19 inches, and $15 for monitors over 19 inches. Please act responsibly and be part of the solution, not the problem.

We also offer Data Erasure services for your hard drive. It is important to eliminate your personal/business information so it is not retrieved by someone else. A Certificate is mailed to you upon completion of the service.
