Hello: The Blind Center of Nevada in Las Vegas is always accepting e-waste for recycling, which provides employment and free services for the blind and visually impaired members. Recycling is beneficial for everyone, as it helps to keep the environment clean.
Some of the acceptable items for recycling are computers, laptops, monitors, printers, fax machines, scanners, routers, modems, copiers, telephones/telephone equipment and cell phones. All items accepted are kept out of the landfills in Nevada. Data erasure is also available to "clean" the hard drive of any personal or business information that you do not wish to be retrieved by anyone.
For more information on acceptable items for recycling, or more information on data erasure, please call the Blind Center of Nevada at (702) 642-6000, or visit our website listed below.
Please remember, "Recycle and reuse, as we all benefit." - ER
